Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the old year and is
Rob Roy Hotel - Aberfoyle synonymous with the celebration of the New Year in the Scottish manner.
The Rob Roy Hotel is wonderfully situated in The origins of Hogmanay are unclear, but it may be derived from Norse and
the Trossachs National Park. The picturesque
village of Aberfoyle is just a short stroll away Gaelic observances of the winter solstice. Customs vary throughout

Loch Lomond - nestled in the heart of Scotland's first National Park, is
renowned for its stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife.

Loch Katrine - the inspiration for the famous 19th century poem, The Lady
of the Lake, by Sir Walter Scott, and still beguiles visitors some two
centuries on. We take a cruise on the Loch with a piper and a wee dram.
Callander - In the 1990's it was the location for Doctor Findlay's Case Book,
a popular TV programme set in the 1940s.
